SoulCalibur II Competition
Beat The Player Series: Preseason

LAGr Gaming has teamed up with GYO to launch the Beat The Player Series with the preseason kicking off January 29th and running through February 28th. This season will feature Street Fighter V with later seasons testing out the new battlegrounds and titles. This competition will feature players and streamers of LAGr Gaming as they challenge their fanbase to beat the players.
The competition will also feature collegiate players from the GYO platform as they seek to join the ladder of fighters. You can find the sign up page and all info below.
Killer Instinct 2020 Recap

Fight Sessions was able to reach out to the Top 2020 competitions in the Killer Instinct eSports organizations. We had the honor of receiving their input on how they impacted the KI scene this past year. Here's what they had to say:
"The way I feel I've impacted the KI community was by being both a competitor and tournament host. I showcased a ton of things that my character Rash can do in many tournaments over the years, but also using my experience and knowledge of the game to help newcomers who are looking to improve their gameplay. With The Revival, I wanted to give back to the community by bringing more events to the players both to veterans and newcomers alike, and showing that the love and hype for Killer Instinct is still alive."
"I created one of the most fun and high quality KI events ever made, the DMC3v3. My event brought a ton of people together and showed that world that people still love Killer Instinct. We put a lot of production to the event such as trailers, teasers, custom theme songs and posters to make this event shine."
"2020 was the year that I decided being a competitor wasn't enough for me. I found a love for hosting my own tournaments, being a caster for tournaments, and providing the community with a way to learn how to play Killer Instinct through my Patreon services. I want to give back to the community in any way that I can, because without Killer Instinct, I wouldn't be who I am and I wouldn't have the things I have."

Cooking The Competition On and Off The Grill
Meet Julian Carmona, better known as LAGr I Carnitas. He is a top level Glacius main from Bakersfield, California who has been competing for over 4 years. He is currently a member of LAGr Gaming and recently competed in KI United where he was seeded 17th but broke out of his pool in winners and battled to a 2nd place finish out of 205 fighters.
When he isn’t competing in Killer Instinct, you can find him streaming many titles such as Monster Hunter: World and Super Smash Brothers. Julian also recently opened up what he calls “Carnitas Taco Shop” which features t-shirts and hoodies with his signature logo as a way for his Twitch and YouTube community to support him. He also currently works with both Sector Six Apparel and StrikeForce Energy as part of his organization sponsorships.

The Comeback

Laura @yangin_pikapi is passionate about sports, she is a qualified soccer and basketball coach and also already has several years of experience in the eSports sector.
Beginning her career as a player of various titles, she soon discovered her affinity for management and leadership within the sector. She began by holding various positions within the staff of different clubs until finding her own project, Red Kings, in which she performs the duties of Executive Director (CEO).
